The Department of Paediatrics is committed to promoting child health, preventing childhood diseases, and delivering compassionate care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. Operating across busy paediatric wards, neonatal intensive care units (NICU), and specialized outpatient clinics, the department provides rich clinical exposure. Students are trained in developmental milestone evaluation, paediatric resuscitation, Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMCI), and paediatric acute care. Led by expert paediatricians, the department fosters a nurturing environment where students learn to combine clinical precision with soft skills required to reassure young patients and their families.

• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU):
  Advanced level-III NICU equipped with neonatal incubators, radiant warmers, phototherapy units, neonatal ventilators, and CPAP machines.
• Paediatric Ward & HDU:
  Dedicated inpatient wards with child-friendly environments, paediatric emergency treatment bays, and isolation areas.
• Paediatric Outpatient & Vaccination Centre:
  Dedicated OPD bays featuring anthropometric measurement tools (stadiometers, infantometers) and an active Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) cold-chain station.
• Paediatric Skill Station:
  Contains paediatric and neonatal CPR manikins, airway management models, and vascular access trainers.
