The Department of Cardiology delivers high-impact clinical education focused on cardiovascular health, acute cardiac management, and preventative cardiology. Based in fully equipped Cardiac Care Units (CCU) and non-invasive diagnostic centres, the department offers students exposure to real-time ECG analysis, echocardiography, and cardiac catheterization procedures. Students master Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) algorithms, diagnostic reasoning for ischemic heart disease, and hypertension management under the mentorship of expert cardiologists. The department prepares students to act swiftly in life-threatening cardiac events while advocating for lifestyle modifications to combat cardiovascular disease.
