My message, being the Principal of Sahara Medical College (SMC), to my colleagues, students, staff and medical fraternity, is simple and clear: in order to achieve excellence in the field of medicine we, must inculcate in ourselves the virtues of motivation, dedication and hard work. These virtues form the building blocks in the field of medicine; without which the field of medicine is bleak and desolated. We, as the practitioners in the field of medicine, are propitious in a true sense as we are heirs of a profession which not only serves our needs of livelihood but is also considered as a lighthouse of a dignified service. With the advancement in the discipline of medicine, the challenges posited with the subject matter are innumerable; those who are willing to accept challenges, transform them into opportunities of learning and discover new vistas of the subject are cordially welcomed at Sahara Medical College. The multidisciplinary faculty at Sahara Medical College is a testimony to the fact that excellence and achievement is a near future.
