The Department of Anaesthesia & Intensive Care provides critical training in perioperative medicine, airway management, pain control, and critical care life support. Utilizing high-fidelity simulation labs, intensive care units (ICU), and modern operating theatres, the department offers hands-on instruction in endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring. Under the guidance of skilled anaesthesiologists and intensivists, students master resuscitation algorithms (BLS/ACLS) and perioperative patient safety protocols. The department instils calm decision-making, procedural skill, and patient safety standards necessary for high-pressure medical environments.

• Clinical Skill & Airway Lab:
  Outfitted with high-fidelity airway management manikins, video laryngoscopes, fibreoptic intubation trainers, and spinal/epidural anaesthesia phantoms.
• Anaesthesia Workstations:
  Modern anaesthesia delivery systems equipped with integrated multi-gas analysers, ventilator circuits, and vaporizers across all operating theatres.
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU):
  Fully equipped ICU beds featuring advanced invasive monitors, central venous pressure setups, arterial line monitoring, and mechanical ventilators.
• Resuscitation Facilities:
  Mobile crash carts provisioned with automated external defibrillators (AED), manual defibrillators, emergency drugs, and difficult airway carts.
